The team at Beer Tech Automation all have three obsessions in common: Craft Beer, Technology, and System Process Automation.
The company was founded by a beer geek and technologist whose experience, education, and expertise includes commercial craft brewing, a Graduate Diploma in brewing, being an avid home brewer, electronic engineering, a master's in Systems Engineering, and more than 20 years as an IT professional (amongst other things). His love of systems automation combined with his knowledge and experience led him to develop an interoperable brewing automation system for his own home brewery, complete with both hardware and software. This prototype served as the catalyst for Beer Tech Automation after multiple commercial crafter brewers expressed a need for exactly this type of system.

Supported by technology-first principles including interoperability and machine-learning, the solution provides craft brewers with an affordable, easy-to-use system to improve outputs, provide insight, increase profitability, and integrate automation techniques in their brewery.
Our software is available both as a stand alone subscription offering, taking manual user input without the need for purchase of the automation hardware, and as a solution combined with affordable, interoperable hardware. The software offers users a range of features, such as playbooks, brewing data, notifications, insights and recommendations using machine-learning, analytics, reporting, and the ability to capture and track information for improved consistency and output.
